You could unlock new players and maps in Adventure mode so game play would keep getting better with some characters you may recognize such as Penta Penguin and N. Brio.

All these games are good, two of them having successful sequels, but sonic R is the only one which is still being made for the PC.

If you have a Sega Saturn, Nintendo 64 or Sony Playstation you should really give them ago. If you are getting a Nintendo Wii, you should be able to download Mario Kart 64 via the Virtual Console download service for a small price.
